The Apple Watch Ultra 4 is Apple’s flagship rugged smartwatch, officially unveiled on September 9, 2026, and released on September 18, 2026. Starting at a base price of $799 (or 23,999,000đ in Vietnam), it focuses heavily on advanced health monitoring, audio intelligence, and enhanced battery life
Design & Display: It retains the iconic 49mm titanium case (available in natural and black titanium finishes) paired with a flat sapphire crystal front. The screen features a 1.98-inch Always-On Retina LTPO3 OLED display capable of reaching a peak brightness of 3,000 nits.
Performance: Powered by the dual-core Apple S11 chip paired with a 4-core Neural Engine and 64GB of storage.
Battery Life: Standard battery performance sees a major boost up to 50 hours of normal use (up from 42 hours on the previous generation) and up to 84 hours in Low Power Mode. Intensive low-power GPS workout tracking can run continuously for up to 45 hours.
Major New Features
Health Sensing System: A completely overhauled rear sensor array doubles the number of photodiodes (eight windows) and expands the ECG electrode surface area by 24%. This allows background heart rate monitoring to refresh every 5 seconds (compared to 5 minutes previously) and records Heart Rate Variability (HRV) every 5 minutes.
Daily Readiness Score: Leveraging the S11 chip and new metrics, the watch computes a continuous 1–10 Readiness score based on sleep quality, recent workout loads, and vitals, providing actionable advice like “recover” or “go for it”.
Audio Intelligence & Siri AI: The device supports specialized on-device Audio Intelligence features including Live Rewind, Siri Recap, and Sound Recognition.
Durability: Maintains MIL-STD-810H military-grade certification, IP6X dust resistance, and WR100 water resistance (rated for recreational scuba diving down to 40 meters)
